Kratologia - About
Kratologia was born from the need to examine power more directly, without pre-defined ideological filters and without concessions to comfortable narratives.
The central focus is the relationship between power structures — governments, international organizations, financial institutions, influential groups — and the common individual. This relationship is rarely balanced. On the contrary: it is marked by an asymmetry of information, capability, and control.
Over time, different forms of power have developed sophisticated methods to preserve and expand themselves. This includes everything from legitimate mechanisms of governance to morally questionable practices, often hidden by official discourses, disinformation, or simply the inaccessibility of facts.
The blog explores:
- The real difference in capability between individuals and structured organizations
- Relationships of dependence between governments and external entities
- Methods used to consolidate and expand power
- Historical and contemporary cases that illustrate these dynamics
- The distance between what is publicly disclosed and what happens behind the scenes
Kratologia assumes that ignorance is one of the main tools for maintaining power. The less you understand, the less you question. This project is, therefore, an invitation to a more attentive — and less naive — observation of the structures that shape the world.
